For every age group we have age appropriate equipment, toys and books. All our children are encouraged to enjoy painting, singing and story time on a daily basis with their peer groups. Soft play, music and dance and even French lessons are all on offer.
Outdoor activities are part of our daily routine, the chance to get
outside and enjoy the fresh air is a very important part of life at
Bumpkins. If it is wet the children wear waterproof dungarees that
we supply so they can still enjoy the outdoors, and our new all weather
playground ensures that the water drains away very quickly so that we
can 'get out to play' every day, twice a day or more!

Children at our day care nursery our well away and secure from the proper tractors and all farming activities but they do get the opportunity to enjoy seeing the farmer at work through the playroom window and outside in the playground.
Our harvest picnic is a well established tradition and our babies enjoy daily 'walks' being pushed in our double buggies, weather permitting. Older children have the opportunity to enjoy a walk to the fantastic new playground at the Whaddon recreation ground just a few minutes walk away. A dance teacher joins us on a weekly basis for dancing lessons and a local French teacher visits Bumpkins regularly to talk, play games and encourage the children to speak French. Both teachers rotate their days so they meet all the children at different times - your child will not miss out if they are only doing a few days each week. All our children get to experience the many different activities we offer.
