Bumpkins is owned by Michaela Huffer who is Mum to Frank and Maddy who are primary school age children.
Michaela fully recognises the need for a quality day care provision for your child. She was unable to find her own dream nursery, so she opened Bumpkins!
Bumpkins is based on a working farm.
Bumpkins is managed on a day to day basis by Vanessa Taylor and Sue Bellamy. Michaela is on long-term sick leave but, she plays an active role in all management decisions.
pre-school building
Our pre-school unit opened in 2003 and cares for 24 children aged from 3+ years. In 2009 the pre-school unit expanded its opening times and changed to become a formal part of the main nursery.

school holiday club
During the school holiday we offer Bumpkins holiday club for a small number of children aged up to 8 years of age based at the former Chapel. This is only available to children who attended Bumpkins prior to school.
